Only 4 of the 25 Interior Green Star certified projects in South Africa have achieved a 5 Green Star rating. 2 of those 4 have been worked on by the team at BIT. The Google Head Office in Johannesburg and the Boogertman + Partners Johannesburg office.

COMMITMENT

BIT has made a conscious effort to apply sustainable design principles as standard practise to all projects, even those that aren't aiming for an official Green Star rating. LEED and the Green Star rating tools have provided a platform for everyone in the Built Environment to not only encourage sustainable design, but also to measure the level of sustainability achieved.

EXPERTISE

The company currently boasts 11 Accredited Professional Members with many more in the process of achieving their accreditation in delivering sustainable buildings. Further, the practice works closely with Sustainability Consultants and clients to consistently improve the application of sustainable design principles through the learnings gathered from project inception to completion.
